Forty years don’t solve anything. Neither do sixty, or a thousand. Maybe a single sunrise. | Miklós Mészöly
Zoltan’s art would be a great base to investigate the substance of visuality. When one looks at the pictures, one begins to suspect that their author is on good terms with the Lord. So many things congregate within the frames of his pictures and those things “click” so perfectly that one is bound to believe that the help of higher powers is behind it.

Zoltán is not a “lucky fellow” who by chance always stumbles into places where the sunrise is beautiful, where interesting formations are located or where people are frozen in peculiar poses, just when one or two pretty clouds are floating in the middle of the sky. I know that many other people visit these places and they don’t have such pictures, so these perfect constellations must exist for such a short period that if someone doesn’t possess the affinity to follow the thousand ever-moving, ever-changing momenta, nay, to predict the perfect moments that are to come in the future, then they are not only incapable of capturing these miracles but they won’t even notice them. | Péter Tímár, photographer

The photographs taken by the artist in many parts of the world from small Hungarian settlements to Italy and Mauritius, and the thoughts paired up with them, born in the author’s mind hint at universality. That wherever we are, the bases, problems and questions of our existence are the same and they are inseparably coalesced with the world around us, the objects, plants, the other person.

Photographs talk, quotes illuminate. Their dialogue vibrates with the motion of a pendulum in the naked silence, expanding well over the boundaries of the album. | Andrea Máthé
